Which is one of the many, many reasons I love this game. I am SO happy that the game does have those respawning areas. There is one enchanter who removes them FOR FREE! But it can take a long time before I find him.īut don't get me wrong. And speaking of enchantments, I've noticed that removing one can often cost more than it did to add it. I've only recently began to wonder about that, because I've only recently discovered that the types of enchanters can change, even at the same location. The socketer locations seem to be standard, although I still have to figure out if they each do the same number of sockets as during my previous encounter with them. While leveling this 3rd character, I've finally started to take notes on which places respawn and where all the socketers & enchanters are. As a result, I can have two rows of items in my inventory that I'm just carrying around so that I can upgrade them as soon as I have the gold or run into the right enchanter or a socketer. So pretty much constantly I need more gold than I have in order to add sockets or enchantments.which get very expensive for the 3rd or 4th ones.Īnd I've found that by the time I've upgraded a new item to a desirable form, it's often time to start working on a replacement. The main problem is that, even in the easiest difficulty mode, it's necessary to constantly upgrade your stats, even in small increments, in order to have your best chances of not dying too often. Which, having just last night finished the game with my 3rd character, I've taken advantage of too many times to count. That's true in a sense, since there are areas that respawn everything. I've read a few comments that mention that gold is plentiful in this game. Yes, I did notice that disenchanting was an option, but at that time I didn't want to spend gold on that. I haven't had the urge to undo something since then, so I haven't needed to die & use the "Quit to Main Menu" option, but I'll have to keep it in mind. Yes, I eventually noticed that when your cursor is over the EXIT button, a little description pops up that says "Save & Exit". I don't think there are many T2 players any more, so it can take a while to get a reply re T2, if any at all. Oh, and you could disenchant the ring if I recall correctly. If you want to undo things - one way I know would work, is by "dying" then clicking the ' Quit to Main Menu' option, instead of the respawn choices available. I'm not sure if it also affects force closing it (alt+F4, task manager, etc.), but the game have an auto-save mechanism in place. Lazarus_03: As far as I remember, quitting to main menu does indeed saves the game.
